Dr. Eric Isaacs has been a developer of modern synchrotron-based x-ray scattering techniques including inelastic x-ray scattering and a hard x-ray nano-probe. Research interests include novel electronic and magnetic materials with a particular focus on creating images of new phenomena in reciprocal and real space at the nanoscale.

Hi Everyone, I've got an idea and would really appreciate some help in figuring out if it's possible at the moment. I'm looking to make a small (possibly 3 cm) transmitter that transmits its location to a receiver that has fixed coordinates. The receiver would then be able to collect and display the transmitter's x,y,z coordinates. Not sure which radio frequency would be best, although I'll be using this for relatively small distances (10-20 meters). I'm pretty much just starting out, but would like to make something that's relatively cheap and lightweight. Thanks in advance! Marina |
