Are How-To articles patent infringement?
Last winter I wrote an article about how to build your own rink rake (a handheld PVC tool to disperse water on your backyard ice rink - a poor man's Zamboni :) using $15 of parts from Lowes. Yesterday I received an email telling me that RinkRake is trademarked and I am violating both his TM and patent. I agreed to remove the phrase "rink rake" from my article, but I don't see how posting plans to build something yourself would infringe the patent. Any thoughts on this?
