| • | Prototyping computer peripherals? |
|
I've had a lot of ideas of improving many computer peripherals but I have no experience whatsoever in making these kinds of things, conceptually and diagrammatically I can work out what needs to be put where, and the shape of what needs to be molded, etc. I'd like to know a couple of things: Where do I go to prototype something like a plastic casing a joystick, mouse, or other peripheral? Should I buy my own prototype equipment? In regards to the electronic component aspect: Is there any electronics books to teach yourself how to make a basic mouse or game controller, and of course programing for USB? And lastly, Is this all too much for one person? :) Thanks... if you have anything to add that I've missed or you have experience with this kind of thing, be much appreciated. Thanks. :) |
